Can we talk by video?

I was thinking I’d give this a try. It wouldn't be for a week or so until I get my computer back and up & runnin’. But I figured I’d put it out there and see if there’s interest.

I have no intention of this being a Q&A where youall ask me questions and I provide answers. In the best sense, it would be a conversation within the theme of this substack, my premise being that we need to end these darned reading wars.

Participants can, of course challenge the premise. Anything else related to this is fair game. I’ve trotted out a number of topics. There are of course others.

I’m not entirely sure how it will work. Maybe we’ll set out some ground rules at the outset? I guess I’ll moderate, more or less, although I’m happy to have someone else do it. Or to have no one do it and let anarchy rule.

So I’d propose this: Pls let me know, either in the comments or by emailing me, if you have any interest in participating. (If you want to participate by just listening, assuming there will be others willing to talk, that’s a-ok by me.)

We’ll take from there. If no uptake, no problem. The end of this idea.

If there is interest, I’ll solicit suggestions, and we’ll decide how to run the thing. And we’ll find some possible times.
